Spending Money On The Things You Enjoy

Lots of people lament the fact that they do not have the money for the things they enjoy, and they try to solve this problem by trying to figure out what they can do to make more money in order to be able to buy that new computer they want, or to take that vacation they were hoping to take. But what most of these people fail to realize is that they actually are making enough money to buy that computer, or to take that vacation, or to do whatever else they are wanting to do, and they simply need to adjust their spending habits in order to save extra money for the things they truly enjoy.

Extra clothes: It is true that clothes are a necessity, but many people buy far more clothing items than they really need – either because they are trying to keep up with the fashions, or because they are simply in the habit of buying new clothes; if “what you enjoy” is buying (and having) new clothes, then you should certainly keep this up, but if you realize that there are a lot of things you enjoy more than clothes, you can save money by cutting back on the clothes you buy.

Eating out: You can save a huge amount of money by eating at home instead of eating at restaurants or ordering out; it is nice to have a meal at a restaurant every once in a while, but make sure you are doing this “for fun,” and not out of routine!

Learn how to make a budget and be thrifty!

Unnecessary items: When it comes to “unnecessary items,” there are different things for each different person, but if you are trying to adjust your spending habits in order to have more money for the things you truly enjoy, figure out what unnecessary items you spend money on, and aim to cut them out!

Cutting all these things out of your spending habits can be a bit of a struggle at first, but once you have a lot more money to spend on the things you truly enjoy, you will realize how worth it this is, and it will suddenly become a whole lot easier!

Making Your Own Picture Frames

If you are the type of person who really enjoys photography but hates to purchase frames for them because the frames are so bloody expensive, then you should consider making your own mats and frames. Believe it or not with the correct material making your own frames really isn’t that hard and it can save you a buck or two.

Molding that you can purchase in the store can make great frames if you learn how to do it correctly. You will need to measure the picture you wish to frame. Chair rail is very decorative and works great as a frame. Once you have the board picked out, you just need to take a router and cut out a notch along the entire length of the board. This will be the notch the glass lays into when the frame is completed.

Once you have that complete you will need to cut a 45 degree angle from both ends with a miter box and saw. This will give your frame edges that great mitered look. Once you have this completed you should mock up the frame with the picture to make sure it is the correct size. If you need to make adjustments, this is the time to fix them before the frame is put together.

If everything is set, simply use some wood glue on the edges and put it in a picture frame miter clamp. This will keep the frame together while your glue dries. You will also need a small set of finishing nails to help you stabilize the joints.

Then you will need to measure the dimensions of the area you notched out for the glass to sit. This will give you the measurements for the glass your need to cut. You can simply cut your glass with a glasscutting tool, or if you don’t feel comfortable there are a number of shops which will do it as well. Once you have it cut, place the glass into the frame. Cut a piece of cardboard out to the same size as the glass and place over the picture to make a sandwich between the glass and the cardboard. The final step is putting little nails around the inside edge to keep the picture in place.

How To Grasp More Of What You Read

Regardless of whether you are a high school or college student who is having to read things for school, an employee who is having to read things for work, or just someone who is reading a book to gain a bit of knowledge or enjoy a bit of relaxation, one fact remains the same: It is nice to actually grasp and remember the things that you have read. And while “recall” definitely comes easier for some than for others, there are still some specific (and easy!) things anyone can do in order to increase the amount that they are able to grasp and recall from anything they read.

Plenty of people are in the bad habit of “reading aloud” inside their head, and until they start thinking about it, they do not even realize this; because your brain moves much faster than your eyes, it can be natural for your brain to try to slow things down by saying each word aloud in your head, but this slows down your reading and ends up making your brain so bored that it starts thinking about other things! Rather than following this habit of “reading aloud” in your head, you should practice digesting the words automatically – reading them without ever “hearing” them said.

Another great way for you to increase what you are able to grasp from your reading is by moving your finger (or a book marker) along the page, beneath the line you are reading; this helps to speed up the pace at which your eyes are moving across the page by keeping them focused on a specific point, and as you start to speed up your eyes to a point where they are moving as quickly as your brain, your brain will remain more engaged and will grasp more of what you read.

And naturally, you will become better at this as you practice more often; keep reading consistently and actively, and over time you will find that you are grasping and recalling much more of whatever it is you happen to be reading.

Planning An Outdoor Wedding

One of the most important days of your life will be your wedding day, but you do not simply show up to your wedding and find that everything turns out great! You must first plan a whole lot for your wedding, and in order for the wedding to be perfect, the planning must also be perfect! An outdoor wedding can certainly be a beautiful wedding, and as such, the romantic desires of many brides lead them to desire such a wedding. But before your outdoor wedding will ever be all the things you want it to be, you must first understand the important things you must make sure you plan for. These are aspects of outdoor weddings that many people overlook, and that can lead to big disappointments when the wedding day comes.

The biggest consideration when planning outdoor weddings is the weather; while you cannot know what the weather will be so far in advance, you can guess closely. When it comes to guessing the weather far in advance, one great resource – one that is surprisingly accurate – is the Old Farmers Almanac. Another thing to keep in mind is the relative heat or cold you are likely to deal with at the time of year and time of day when your wedding will be!

You also need to be aware of bugs if your wedding is planned for the spring, summer, or fall. It is not difficult to take measures against bugs, but many people forget; and remember, your guests will be endlessly uncomfortable if your wedding is swarming with bugs.

Sufficient parking for your guests is also important if you are going to plan to have an outdoor wedding. As the parking options are likely to include parking on grass or dirt, make sure all precautions are taken to ensure everyone will be able to park, and no one will get stuck.

Planning a wedding can be loads of fun, but if you are not careful, it can be easy to overlook those little aspects that can make or break a wedding. Pay close attention to these details if you are planning an outdoor wedding, and in this way you can have flawless planning that will lead to a flawless wedding!

Studying With Active Reading

One thing that will be important in order for you to achieve success this this year if you are a high school or college student going back to school is that you understand how to study properly. A lot of people go through school saying that they “have a hard time learning” or that they are “not a good test taker,” but the fact of the matter for many of the students is simply that they do not know how to study properly – which is to say, they do not understand how to study by actively reading.

There are two types of reading, active reading and passive reading; while passive reading is what you do when you are skimming, for instance, a magazine article or a blog post, active reading is what you should be doing when you are studying – paying attention to and absorbing every little thing in the writing.

It can take a little while – and a bit of practice – before you become truly adept at active reading, as most people are not really used to it; one of the best ways to begin practicing active reading is by using your fingers or an index card to “guide your eyes,” which means moving your fingers or this index card underneath the words you are reading, so that your eyes are following both the words and the “guide” as you read.

Stopping after every 2 or 3 paragraphs and recapping in your mind what you just read is another great way to practice active reading; although it might seem like this takes more time, it will actually save you time in the long run, as you will be continually learning things rather than having to go back and “study” these things later on before a test.

And the final thing you need in order to become adept at active reading is patience; if you have spent years passively reading when you should have been actively reading, it can take a little while before your mind is trained to read the right way, but as you continue working on it, and as you have some patience, the results will eventually come your way!

Tips For Making Money As A Valet

If you work as a valet, you can either end up making very good money or you can end up making very poor money. Of course, the amount of money you make will be dependent on your tips – which is why your money can vary so wildly. But while it might seem like the tips you receive depend on a variety of things that are all outside your control, there are actually numerous things you can do yourself to get the tips you want. If you follow these three simple tips, the tips you get in return (in money!) will start to be a whole lot more than what you were getting before.

Get to know names: You will find that you start to see the same people again and again, regardless of whether you work as a valet at a country club, a restaurant, an airport, or somewhere else. When people are using a service that is outside the norm, they always appreciate a personal touch, and you can give them this personal touch when you remember the names of the customers who show up over and over again. Furthermore, they will begin to remember your face as you start to remember their names – and this will translate to more money in tips.

Do what is expected of you: There are many valets who do not do the things that are expected of them, which is why this is worth pointing out. These valets make poor money in tips because they do not hustle and they are sloppy with their work.

Do more than what is expected of you: In addition to doing the things that are expected of you, you should aim to go over and above. The patrons should be able to see you hustling around to get the cars, they should have clean windshields if you have time, and you should always open and close their doors for them. When you do these things, these regular customers will notice the extra effort you make, and they will tip accordingly.

If you follow these tips, you will be able to watch the money roll in, and you will find that it is not difficult at all to make good money as a valet attendant.

Tips For Writing A Good Blog On Cooking

If the culinary arts are where you are hoping to make your living, or if you simply get a great deal of pleasure out of cooking, running a cooking blog can be tremendously beneficial, as it will help you share knowledge, gain knowledge, and connect with other appreciators of cooking. But before you will be able to gain the benefits of a cooking blog, you need to make sure you know how to properly run a cooking blog – maintaining it in such a way that readers are drawn toward it and visit it consistently.

Pick an angle: Too many people fail in their attempts to run a successful cooking blog because they decide that their blog will focus on “cooking,” which is far too broad a spectrum to try to focus on all at once! If you want to run a successful cooking blog, you need to pick an area of cooking that is of particular interest to you, and you need to focus most of your posts on this particular area – setting yourself up as an enthusiast or an expert in this area.

Photos and multimedia: Photos, videos, and audio in blogs are always beneficial, but this is especially the case in cooking, as the visuals of the food and the cooking process are not only helpful to those who are reading, but will also go a long way in making your site feel accessible to readers, as it will be much easier on the mind and the eyes.

Writing frequently: Consistency in posting is one of the big keys to success in any form of blog writing, and this is no different for a cooking blog; your readers should know that they can come to your on a regular basis and find new content that they can enjoy learning from, commenting on, and trying for themselves!

Once you put all these elements together, you will be able to watch your readership grow over time – and as your readership grows, your cooking knowledge will also begin to grow!

Tips For Ordering Bookmarks Inexpensively

Bookmarks can function as a great promotional tool for everyone from writers to businessmen to small business owners to just about everyone else, as a good bookmark will give people something that they will see all the time, and that will cause them to think of you every time they see it. In fact, a good bookmark can be even more valuable than a business card, as someone is likely to pocket a business card and perhaps throw it away eventually, and there is no telling whether they will actually pay attention to it again, but with a bookmark, you will be giving them something that they will constantly see, and every time they see it, it will be like a brand new advertisement from you; but of course, for some people, the cost of bookmarks can be prohibitive, and for this reason it is useful to understand some ways to get bookmarks for less money.

Most bookmarks are about two inches by six inches, while most postcards are about four inches by six inches; if you want to save some money on bookmarks and do not mind spending just a little bit of extra time, the best way to do this is to order postcards instead of bookmarks, and then to chop these postcards in half.

The cost of printing, for instance, a hundred postcards is often only a fraction higher than the cost of printing a hundred bookmarks, which is why you will be able to save so much money if you create your bookmarks out of postcards instead of purchasing bookmarks outright. The key to doing this is to make sure you design your postcards properly, so that there is a definite midline along which you can cut, and so that the “bookmarks” will look good and professional once you have cut along this midline.

Once you have designed your postcards and received them in the mail, you can go to a copy shop and use their paper cutter to slice all your postcards in half, or you can simply purchase a paper cutter of your own, and you will soon have a large pile of beautiful bookmarks!

A Selection Of Good Books To Read To Your Children

Most parents natually have a desire for their children to grow into intelligent and capable adults, but one of the things that some parents fail to realize is that you can help your children to become these things from an early age – and one of the best ways to help your children in this is to get them interested in reading; when your children read, they will be opening up their creativity, and will be exercising their mind – and when you read to your children from an early point, you will increase the chances of them enjoying reading themselves.

One thing you should keep your eyes open for, when you are looking for books to read to your children, is series of books, as children have an easier time getting absorbed in a story when there are more books than just the one they are reading – and when it comes to series that are great for children, there is very little that tops The Chronicles of Narnia; this series is easy for children to understand, is adventurous enough to hold their interest, and is good enough that you will enjoy reading it as well.

Another series that is similar to The Chronicles of Narnia, but that runs a bit more along the lines of “sci fi” than along the lines of fantasy (and that is a bit simpler!) is the Wrinkle in Time books, but Madeline L’Engle; these books are not quite as swashbucklingly adventurous as The Chronicles of Narnia, but they are entertaining and highly enjoyable nonetheless.

And if you do not need to give your children blatant adventure in order for them to enjoy a book, think about reading the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Wilder; this series of books is perfect for children, as they will be able to learn about life the way it was when America was first opening up, while also having the chance to get caught up in an absorbing and fascinating series of stories.

The more often you read to your children, the greater their interest in reading will be – and when you are able to find series that are enjoyable for you to read and fun for your children to listen to, it will be that much easier for you to read to your children as often as you should.

Keeping Up With Your Responsibilities

On top of keeping up with all of your responsibilities, another thing that can be especially difficult is keeping track of all your responsibilities in the first place; if you have ever had instances where you have failed to do something you were supposed to do because you lost track of your responsibilities, here are a few tips to keep in mind to help you keep up with your responsibilities.

In order to keep up with your responsibilities, the main thing you will want to make sure you do is keep track of your responsibilities in the same place, all the time; this place can be in a particular notebook, on your computer, on an iPad, or on any other device you have that is good for keeping notes – realize that it does not so much matter where you are keeping track of your responsibilities as it matters that you are being consistent with where you keep track of them.

As you make sure you are keeping your responsibilities recorded in the same place, all the time, you will be able to put yourself in good shape for tackling these responsibilities by dividing your day between the things you need to do that day, and the things you need to focus on; of course, your primary focus will be the things you need to “do,” but you can also ensure that your day as a whole is productive when you make sure you are focusing on your “focus on” items once your “to do” items are finished.

And on top of keeping a list of things you need to do within each day, you should keep a list of things you need to do at some point in time – and each day, when you set up your “to do” and “focus on” lists for the day, you can pull new items from your long-term “to do” list and pick which ones you will do that day.

Each individual person will naturally have individual ways that work best for them, as far as keeping track of their responsibilities goes, but if this is something you have ever struggled with yourself, these ideas will help you to get on the right track!

Knowing The Steps In Landing A Literary Agent

If you have a desire to be a writer, one of the most important steps for you to take will be landing a literary agent; without a literary agent, you will not be able to approach any of the major publishing houses, and in fact, you will even have a hard time getting your short stories published in publications that people actually read – but when you have a literary agent (especially if you are able to land one with a great reputation and a long track record of success!), you will greatly increase the chances of achieving success yourself.

The first thing you will need to do, before you ever start approaching literary agents, is to complete the novel or book you are working on, and to completely polish it; although some literary agents will take months to return responses to the query letters they receive, others will answer emails within a day or two, and if you get a request for your manuscript, you will want to make sure it is as polished as you have the ability to make it, so that the agent will feel that they could sell the book right away!

When you compose the query letter that you will send out to literary agents, make sure you are putting it together in such a way that it grabs the agent’s attention without being gimmicky, and in such a way that it describes the book and makes them want to read it; because literary agents see hundreds of letters each week from aspiring authors, and because many of these aspiring authors make the same mistakes as one another, it will be important that you know the major mistakes agents want you to avoid!

And when you have received a request for your manuscript, hold off on sending followup emails, realizing that the top priority of agents is the clients they have already, and they are not going to forget about your manuscript in the meantime.

It is not always easy to land an agent, especially with the state of the publishing industry being in a bit of a strange place, but when you understand these steps, you will be in great shape to achieve success yourself.

Places To Go For Learning More About Writing

If being a writer is a dream of yours, you have probably come to the realization that there is more to the craft of writing than simply sitting down and typing – and if you are serious about learning what more there is, you may have been wondering where you should go in order to learn more about writing; while there are plenty of great options for learning about writing (and while you may receive different advice every different place you turn!), here are a few tried and tested ways by which you can pick up some extra pointers on the craft of writing.

Learning from others who are in the same place you are in is a great way to go, as these people are likely to be discovering new things about writing on their own while also learning things in their own studies, and the best places to go in order to find such people is writing blogs and writing groups; search for writing blogs that are written by other aspiring authors, and try to find a writing group that is full of eager, non-judgmental people, and you will be able to watch as your knowledge on the subject of writing expands.

You should also look for books about writing; you will be able to find a lot of books that fit this description, but one thing you should pay attention to is the names on the spine; if the books telling you how to write were written by unsuccessful authors, you may want to look elsewhere, but if the books were written by well-known authors and are highly regarded (a couple examples are Strunk & White’s “Elements of Style” and Stephen King’s “On Writing”), you are more likely to find useful information inside the pages.

And reading all the time is the best way of all to learn about writing – and not just reading the sorts of books you hope to write yourself, but all other kinds of books as well. The more often you read, the more you will see how it is done by other successful writers, and the closer you will come to becoming a successful writer yourself!

How To Increase Your Productivity

“Increased productivity” is a vague goal for many people, something that seems like it has no real path that leads to it, as it appears as though everything they do in order to increase their productivity has no effect or has even an adverse effect; of course, part of the reason why these people feel this way is that they do not know exactly what they should be doing in order to increase their productivity – failing to realize that an understanding of how to approach this goal is as important as having the goal itself.

Most people spend more time at work than they spend doing anything else, and because of this, productivity in the workplace is the first place where they should place their focus; a lot of people are under the impression that they will increase their productivity at work if they “just keep working,” failing to realize or acknowledge that there is only so much time they can spend focusing at once before their mind stops paying attention. If you are hoping to increase your productivity at work, the best thing you can do is figure out how long you are able to work before your mind starts fading, and once you have this target, try working in stretches of that amount of time, always taking a short break to rest your mind for a bit before you jump back in and start up with work again.

Enjoying your time off is one thing you will want to do when you are outside work, but most people also have a lot of responsibilities they have to take care of outside of work, and these responsibilities can bleed into their free time; in order to increase your productivity when it comes to your responsibilities, you will need to learn to be deliberate about getting them done, setting aside time and knocking them out in succession, as this will help your free time to be more productive and enjoyable as well.

And in order to increase your productivity in life, you will want to find things that make you feel fulfilled – things you truly enjoy – and force yourself to make time for these, cutting out the time wasters that try to take up your space along the way!

Tips For Writing The First Draft Of A Novel

A lot of people imagine that writing a novel would be a whole lot of fun, but while they might have a great idea for a novel, and while they might even have moderately good (or even very good) writing skills, it can sometimes be difficult to know exactly how to get started; of course, there is no right or wrong way to get started, as long as you are able to finish in the end, but there are certain things that anyone would be well-served to keep in mind in starting a novel, as these are some things that tend to work for anyone who chooses to put them to use!

Coming up with a general idea for the story, and coming up with the characters who will populate the story, are the first couple steps to writing a novel; there is no need for you to come up with a blow-by-blow rundown of everything that is going to happen in the story, but rather, come up with a simple outline of what you expect to happen, then insert the characters you have created and see where they take the story!

Consistency will be the next step to writing a novel, and this means setting a certain amount of time you expect to write each day, and even setting a time of day during which you plan to do this “certain amount of writing”; in theory, this part should be easy, but keeping up with this writing every day is one of the most difficult parts of the process – and all the while, it is also one of the most important!

And a lot of people face the problem of overanalyzing things as they move through the first draft, wondering if the writing is good enough, or if the story is good enough, or if everything is polished enough. But it is important for you to realize that when you finish the first draft, you will end up spending far more time editing the manuscript than you spent writing it, and during that time you will be able to clean up everything that requires cleaning up – but the hardest part of all is simply getting the story down on paper, so do not worry about how polished it is, but instead, just keep drumming away on it every single day!

How To Get Your Book Published

Many people imagine seeing their name on the bookshelves in Borders or Barnes & Noble. These people want their friends to be able to go on Amazon and pick up a copy of their book. Maybe this book idea they have is for a novel that will knock people’s socks off, or for a non-fiction book that will become a bestseller. Maybe their idea is for a self-help book that will help to change the world, or even for a cookbook that will light the culinary world on fire. Equipped with an idea and either a notebook and pen, a typewriter, or a computer, anyone is ready to begin the journey. As these people write, they are alone, their world is quiet, and the journey is long. And then, this part of the journey is over, and the writer is ready to celebrate! At last, they are ready for people to read; and they want everyone to do so. So how does this happen? How do the manuscript pages become a book? How does the writer get their words onto bookshelves?

Well, actually, the end of the solo portion of the journey has not yet come. No matter what kind of book you have written, you need to spend hours (and hours and hours) editing your book before anyone can see it. Make sure you’ve cleaned up all spelling, grammar, and usage errors. You have to make sure that it all makes sense. Check the pace – make sure it’s not too slow and boring; make sure it’s not too fast and confusing. Will people actually read it! It can be tough to fly solo for so much longer, but enjoy it while you have the chance. Once this step is over, the door to your world gets flung wide open!

It is now time to find a literary agent. This might seem simple enough, but most literary agents get between 100 and 200 letters each week. And most of them only take on about two new clients per year! Because of this, you have to learn the art of query letter writing. There are plenty of great websites to help you learn about query letter writing – in fact, many such websites are run by agents themselves.

After you land an agent (and finish celebrating this grand accomplishment), you move onto the final step, which might be the hardest of all: waiting. A whole bunch of waiting!

It is not easy to get your idea onto bookshelves; in fact, the easiest step of all might be the actual writing. But if you have the perseverance and patience to make it to the finish line, you will have achieved something great, something you can be proud of for the rest of your life.

Tips For Enjoying The Arts

Because of the saturation of media that the television and the internet provide for us, many forms of the arts are neglected when compared to the reverential manner in which they used to be esteemed, but one thing that would be beneficial for you to realize for yourself is that – no matter what you do for a living or what you do in life – it is not only important to enjoy the arts, but it is beneficial as well.

One of the best ways (and certainly among the most common ways) for someone to enjoy the arts is by keeping art at home; while many people think strictly of keeping artwork on the walls of their home when they read “keeping art in your home,” this also can mean keeping indie films in your home, artistic music in your home, and literature in your home!

With this availability of art inside your own home, it can be easy to forget that there are also things to go out to experience in the arts; pay attention to the new things that are coming out, such as movies or even art shows in your area, and make the effort to get out and experience these things as often as you can.

And of course, if you want to support the arts, this can stretch outside of things that you necessarily “enjoy”; perhaps a local high school or a local theatre group is putting on a play, and even though you may have no interest in the play itself, you can support the arts and encourage the participants to continue immersing themselves in their artistic pursuits by attending such events on a regular basis.

Some say that the arts are not necessary, and this may or may not be true – but what certainly is true is that the arts can be a great way for someone to enrich their life, and by learning how to enjoy the arts, you can experience this for yourself.

How To Enjoy Christmas While Saving Money

The giving of gifts is one of the biggest aspects of Christmas, but while some people have a lot of fun giving gifts, others see this as something that is extremely stressful; if you (or if you and your family) have ever gone through Christmas feeling like giving gifts is something stressful rather than fun, you may be taking the wrong approach – and the right approach does not necessarily have as much to do with spending more money as it has to do with knowing how to enjoy Christmas, even while saving money!

Establishing within your family the reason why all of you are exchanging gifts is the first step to enjoying Christmas even while you are working to save money; make sure that it is clear that none of you are giving gifts in order to get something in return, but rather, that you are each buying gifts for the others in your family in order to do something that is a blessing for them, which will make the actual purchasing of gifts of whole lot more fun for each person.

After you and your family have clearly established the reason why you are giving gifts, the next thing you should consider doing is setting a budget that each person in your family is allowed to spend on each person for whom they are buying gifts. When you do this and “require” that no one goes over budget, it will be a lot easier for everyone in your family to have fun buying gifts, as they will know exactly how much they’re going to spend, and will not have to worry about going overboard – instead being able to simply enjoy spending the money they have set aside!

And finally, realize when you are getting gifts that it is not about what you are getting so much as it is about appreciating what people are buying for you; after all, you can always spend your own money on the things you “need,” but you cannot always have the pleasure of receiving thoughtful gifts from other members of your family.

Shaping Your Creative Mind

One thing you need to realize if you have an interest in any area of the arts is that you are not alone in your desire to make a living doing whatever it is in the arts that you love; there are thousands of people all across the country (and all around the world!) who have this same desire, and even though you may not want to think of it as such, you are actually in competition with all of these people! This realization is not intended to be discouraging, but is instead intended to help you understand just how hard you must work to rise above all the others against whom you are competing if you hope to make a living in the arts; even though each area of the arts is distinctly different from others, there is one thing they all share in common, and that is the fact that it is important for aspiring artists of any kind to know how to shape their creative mind.

In order to shape your creative mind, the first thing you will want to do is constantly immerse yourself in creativity – even in kinds of creativity that do not pertain to your particular passion; this means that even if you are an artist, you should spend time reading or listening to music, or even if you want to be a writer, you should spend time watching films and looking at paintings!

And even when you are not being directly creative (that is, during those times when you are not working on a particular creative project), you should be making an effort to live creatively; this can mean any number of things to any number of different people, but figure out what “living creatively” means for you – and then make sure you are doing it!

And if you are wanting to shape your creative mind, the most important thing of all will be that you constantly create; even on days when you do not feel like it, or on days when you do not necessarily “have the time,” you should make time to create, as this will help you to continue to shape your creative mind.

How To Make The Most Of A Trip To New York City

New York City is among the most popular tourist destinations in the world – and not just for people from other countries, but also for Americans – but one mistake lots of people tend to make when visiting New York City is that they go with a general list of the things they want to make sure they see and do, and they give themselves no additional plans or details beyond this. When you visit New York City, however, it will be important that you have more behind your plans than simply “what you want to see and do”; additionally, you will want to have in your plans exactly how you should see and do these things!

When you are in New York City, a couple of the things you are likely to want to see are Central Park and the interior of the city itself; because Central Park and the main streets of the city are both such high tourist draws, however, you will typically find nothing but tourists in these places if you visit them later in the day. Because of this, the best way to see Central Park and the interior of the city is to get out early in the morning – rising with both the sun and the locals – as this will provide you with a chance to see the city as the locals see it, rather than as the tourists see it!

When most of the tourists are flocking to Central Park and wandering the main streets of the city in the daytime is the time when you should plan to visit all the museums you are thinking about seeing, as you will deal with smaller crowds in these areas than you would by trying to do other things in the city.

And of course, on a visit to New York City, everyone needs to see Broadway and Times Square, and night is the best time to see these sights – but at the same time, realize that your visit to this part of the city will likely be most rewarding if you go to them on a weeknight (rather than on a weekend night), as this will give you slightly smaller crowds, and an increased opportunity for fun!
